Our Story

At Viggat we strive to find a balance between design, craftsmanship & sustainability. We build sneakers for adventure using the best European materials and small-scale manufacturing. Viggat means “to strive” in Sami language and we strive to make you a sustainable sneaker that will serve you well both on adventures in nature and for life in the city.

While the Viggat brand was launched in 2025 we are part of Troentorp Clogs which is a family company with shoe making tradition that dates back to 1907. Our shoes are made in our Troentorp factory and the approach is that of a shoe makers’ rather than that of most other brands that outsource production and only do marketing and design in-house.

Materials are European and production is in Europe. Leather, soles and other components are sourced in Italy, Spain and Portugal while our factory is based in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
